10 years ago, I thought my chance to start a boutique had already slipped away. Between work, family, and the rhythm of everyday life, my dream always seemed to stay in the background.

It was my daughters, Emma and Sophie, who wouldn’t let me forget. More than once they said, “Mom, you’ve always wanted this — why not now?” At first, I brushed it off. I felt too old, too unsure. But their voices stayed with me, and slowly, their belief gave me the courage to begin.

I started small — late nights at the kitchen table, wrapping orders, learning one mistake at a time. Some days I felt unstoppable, other days I wondered if I should quit. But every little win mattered.

I still remember the joy of my very first order — the disbelief, the happy tears. That feeling has never left me, and even now, every order still feels just as personal.

Little by little, Emma and Sophie began to help. What started as my private dream became our family boutique. Today, FemmeduNord Toronto is more than I ever imagined... a place where women across Canada can discover timeless, elegant pieces that bring comfort, confidence, and joy.

But the truth is, we didn’t do this alone. Every kind word, every loyal customer, every woman who felt more confident in our pieces — you made this possible.
